OUR team believes in learning and teaching, which is accomplished by introducing projects to the public in order to inspire individuals and receive their reviews.
The Gryph Energy team partnered with Waterfarmers Aquaponics and Entravision to develop an innovative aquaponics system to educate and empower the public. This system was exhibited at EDIT – An Expo for Design, Innovation & Technology held in downtown Toronto. Our exhibit which used two FloNergia© airlift pumps consumes minimal power to run this loop. This project caught the eye of many individuals and publishers including CBC in their article “5 Design Innovations that just might change the world”. This expo was the first taste of FloNergia© pumps to the public and received positive feedback.

Royal Agri Fair
The Aquaponics setup from EDIT expo was revived and improved to be exhibited at the 95th Royal Agricultural Winter Fair held in Toronto, Ontario. The project once again caught the eye of the public who showed tremendous interest in the system run by just air. This exhibit was especially a success for School Tour Groups where kids and teachers were fascinated by the simplicity of the airlift as well as the sustainability of this innovative aquaponics setup.
